Theresa Gibb's niece, Michelle - update 1/30

Please keep praying for Michelle!! Your prayers are being heard!!! She is up and around...even bottle-feeding the baby some...but her heart isn't working completely on it's own yet! If the medicines don't do the job, she will have to have a regular defibrillator installed internally, which she will have to wear permanently as a life saving device. So please keep praying; and thank you again!

Terry was in and out of surgery pretty quick...Praise the Lord!! He has to return to the doctor next Tuesday afternoon for a check-up. Prayerfully he will heal properly this time! :)))

car accident

This morning there was a car accident involving an 18-wheeler and a small white car. The white car was crushed. We do not know what happened exactly or the results...if everyone was okay or not... but please say a prayer for all those that might have been affected by that accident.

This is an update to my prayer request for safe travel this morning. After two hours trying to drive in Wichita Falls, we went back to the hotel and will not attempt to travel today! The roads to Dallas are bad and some parts are closed. We are planning to drive to Amarillo and Lubbock tomorrow, so continue to pray for my safe travel. The weather conditions are still bad in Wichita Falls(freezing rain) and I am concerned about travel tomorrow too. Thanks for your prayers!

update on Mike Palmer

Mike Palmer made it through surgery well! Praise the Lord!!! :)))) It's too early to tell just yet, but he should be able to go home tomorrow! Keep praying that the surgery shows success...that Mike's ankle increases in mobility, and he can walk without pain here in the near future...which is the end result that they have set out to accomplish! ;)

Please pray for my safe travel on these icy roads. I am on business this week in Wichita Falls and will be driving to Dallas this afternoon. My drive last night from San Angelo to Wichita Falls was very scary. We slipped a few times on the icy road and the wind really blew the car around. I don't have a choice in travel, so please pray for safety. Thank you.

They removed the balloon pump completely today, and Michelle's heart seems to working fine. The heart beat is now rather stable at 106, which is great compared to what it was earlier. They also let Michelle sit on the side of the bed for the first time and also let her get out of bed and walk briefly around the room. She will probably be moved from ICU to a regular room tomorrow. This has been the most optimistic report yet!! Please keep praying; it works!

Please pray for our niece, Michelle. She had a baby Wednesday & had complications. The baby is fine, but she is not. She had internal bleeding, edema, & high blood pressure. Last night her heart failed & they had to transfer her to another hospital. She had heart surgery Thursday. She was doing better yesterday, but please pray that her heart will pump on its own. I hope you can pray for my daughter Janel. At this moment she is full of anger as I have scolded her and said hurtful things to her. I made her break up w/ her boyfriend. She is only 14 years old and still so young. She gets so distracted she cannot mix love and school. Her grades are very low and she defies our rules. She has been totally lying to me. I am having a hard time as she does not want to talk to me or listen to me. She cannot understand that what we are doing is for her own good. Please pray for Amanda's boyfriend, Garrett, he has had a really tough year, including cancer himself. This morning about 2:00 a.m his older brother was in a car accident, the car was pushed into a light pole...wrapping the car around it. Travis was on the side that hit. He died tonight about 6:20. Please pray for Garrett, his family and Amanda asked that she be a good witness and that she be able to "be there for him".....he is in Chicago undergoing chemo.

Update on Richard Carillo

For those of you that don't know, Richard Carrillo suffered a stroke in his back and has no use of his legs. Richard was just transferred yesterday (Friday) to Kingsland Rehab Hospital located at 21720 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, Tx 77450 Room # 234. Their phone # is 281-579-5555; they will connect you to his room. Richard is in dialysis on Tues, Thurs and Saturday. You might want to call first on those days before going over to see him.
If you can, please make the time to visit with him he really would appreciate that.
Please continue to pray for him and his family. They really appreciate and need your prayers and support.

Ryan is the son of a good friend of mine. He is 14 and lives in Maryland. The doctors say he has an eye problem called -acute retinal necrosis- in both eyes which leads to retinal detachment and legal blindness. I ask you to pray for this child, that God heals him. I pray that our Lord with his Mercy will heal Ryan as I know he can. I pray that it be his will that this be done. All things are possible through him who strengthens me. Amen. Remember a while back I asked for prayer for Christina & her 3 year old son Connor? They were both hit by a drunk driver while walking home in their neighborhood...Connor did not survive and is in heaven making God smile. The doctors' claimed that Christina had extensive brain damage and would only be a vegetable.

I just received word that Christina was released from the hospital on Christmas Day and that she's talking and misses her son; but, she's alive and well and on an awesome road to complete recovery!! I just wanted to take a moment and Praise God for His healing power over her and to thank Him in advance for healing my friend Richard Carrillo and for also healing and restoring Lori & Randy Whitfield's marriage...God is soooo good!!

Richard Carillo

Richard was taken by ambulance to the hospital on New Years day with severe back pain. He was unable to walk. They took a CT scan and an MRI & determined that he has suffered a stroke on his spinal cord. They performed surgery to remove the mass that caused the stroke. The dr's are saying that he will probably never be able to walk again.
Please pray that God will heal him completely and that he will be able to walk again. Also pray for his daughter, Veronica, as she is his only child and is carrying a heavy load.
Richard is in the Medical Ctr downtown in the Jones Pavillion in room #324.

Please lift Odinakachi, or "Ody", a young woman who has been visiting Grace since November. She is having pre-op surgery on Jan. 6th and full surgery on Jan. 12th to remove cancer. Please lift her for healing within the Lord's will and for His comfort and peace for the days ahead. She has been on vacation here in the States when her cancer was discovered. Her family and young children are currently in Africa.
