Alyssa Sager

Alyssa is currently undergoing her fourth course of Chemo. She gets nauseated for the first day, so please continue to keep her in your prayers. The PET scan, CAT scan, etc. that were done Wednesday and Thursday are back. We are Praising the Lord!!! There is absolutely NO active cancer seen on the PET!! Only some residual lumps seen with the CAT. So, obviously all those prayers y'all have been making on her behalf have been answered in a very glorious way!! Thanks to all of you!! :))))))

Mother, Betty Rowles, fell and broke her arm near the shoulder. Pray that she will be steady as she walks without her walker and gets used to a cane. Right now, on top of her regular instability, she's very “unconfident” in her abilities.

Please lift up Robert Hill in your prayers. He was not feeling well and was admitted into the hospital last week. It was determined that further testing and evaluation of his heart is necessary. He was released. He will be returning to his doctors for further evaluation as the cause is still unknown. Please pray for good reports and if treatment is necessary that it will not effect the quality of his life. Pray that the Lord will bring quick and thorough healing to Robert and comfort to his family, Thank you............ Jeff Taylor

Hurricane Ike aftermath

Dear Prayer Warriors,

I know this goes without saying, but please keep in prayer everyone who has suffered from the hurricane. Pretty much everyone who lives in Houston and the surrounding areas have had their lives disrupted. Many are without power, have damaged property, or have completely lost their homes. The aftermath is stressful and overwhelming for many people. It is also a great time for us to shine with the love of Christ and help those in need. Pray for the witness.

Specifically, please pray for Lyndsey and Frank from Galveston (friends of the Yantosca's) and Jenn Bond (from Galveston--lost everything).

Drowning

Please be praying for the family of the man and 3-1/2 yr old boy who drowned in their backyard pool yesterday afternoon (on our street). They just lived a few houses down, in the cul-de-sac. He leaves behind a young wife and two other children, one about a year old and I'm not sure about the other, possibly of preschool age as well.

Please continue to pray for the Ross family. Andrea is going to try to schedule for an induction tomorrow! They are on stand-by, so anxieties are high! They will be at St. Luke's in the med center, so Texas Children's will be close-by if Abigail needs immediate care. Please pray for them all!!
